Mostly Modern Festival
Mostly Modern Festival is an international music festival at the Arthur Zankel Music Center in Saratoga Springs, New York, that celebrates the diversity of modern music with world premieres alongside 20th and 21st century classics. The MMF Institute – open by application – provides world class artistic & educational experiences to performers, composers, and conductors. Participants perform side-by-side with distinguished faculty in the Mostly Modern Orchestra as well as incredible chamber music concerts.
Mostly Modern Festival, The Netherlands
In partnership with Muziekschool Zeeland, Mostly Modern Festival | The Netherlands is the European edition of the USA-based Mostly Modern Festival. Located in historic Middelburg, Zeeland, MMF NL shines an international spotlight on modern music in Holland. Musicians from across the globe collaborate and celebrate world premieres alongside 20th and 21st century classics. Events include exquisite, curated culinary experiences as well as modern dance and art, all in connection with the music. Concerts take place at the iconic & stunningly gorgeous acoustic hall, Zeeuwse Concertzaal and the Oostkerk.

FAB5’s signature sound combines strings with the cajon & drums, creating a totally unique & engaging experience for everyone. Mostly Modern Ensemble
Founded in 2005 as American Modern Ensemble, Mostly Modern Ensemble spotlights contemporary music via lively thematic programming, performing a wide repertoire, particularly by living composers. MME is a dynamic, creative force in the modern music scene. Robert Paterson serves as Artistic Director as well as house composer.
With a world-class ensemble made up of many of the world’s finest musicians, MME is “simply ‘first-rate” (The New York Times). MME has performed works by living composers in venues ranging from Carnegie Hall to National Sawdust, and has “consistently demonstrated a flair for inventive programming” (Steve Smith, Time Out New York). MME programs cutting edge and traditional works, presenting unique and welcoming events. Sold out crowds are a winning testament to their fan base and ever expanding popularity. The Mostly Modern Festival in Saratoga Springs, New York is the summer home for MME.
American Modern Recordings
American Modern Recordings is a boutique label specializing in modern classical music, with a focus on living composers. Critically-acclaimed, world-class recordings with outstanding reviews from Gramophone, The New York Times, NewMusicBox, The New Yorker, and many others. Distributed by Naxos.
Paterson Prize
The Paterson Prize provides funding to arts organizations that celebrate the music of American composer Robert Paterson. This prize makes it possible to create and grow partnerships and relationships between individuals, ensembles, and arts organizations who seek to collaborate, champion, and perform Paterson’s music. Winners receive funding that can be allocated toward performances, commissions, recordings, video, or even to assist with sheet music rental and/or sheet music purchase. Proof of concept is required, and proposals come to fruition within two years of winning the award.

Lumiere Records is a boutique label specializing in classical crossover music. Our albums are top-sellers on Amazon and iTunes and are available everywhere recordings are sold or streamed. Our tracks have been featured in well-known films, including The Secret Life of Pets, A Beautiful Day in The Neighborhood, The Social Network, among many other TV & films. Distributed by Naxos.
Music & Medicine
Music & Medicine is an outreach program that began in 2020 and provided life-saving employment to top-caliber musicians while bringing healing and much-needed vitality to community centers, hospitals, vaccination centers, parks, and more. Musicians from Broadway, The Metropolitan Opera, Lincoln Center, New York Philharmonic & Carnegie Hall were engaged by Victoria Paterson to perform solos to quintets in 2020 and these programs continue today. In person music transforms lives, sparks hope and provides tremendous comfort.

Mostly Modern Pops
Mostly Modern Pops started in 2020 and showcased classical instruments performing popular favorites—performed by top-caliber NYC artists—Best of Broadway, Film & Television, Pop Songs from all decades, Children’s Programs, as well as Opera & Classical Music. Venues include Chelsea Market, Columbus Circle, Brookfield Place, The Javits Center, and much more. The ever-popular FAB5 continues to perform pops and crossover programs year-round.
